On May 19th, 2023, history was made as the first-ever WordCamp Sylhet took place at the Central Auditorium, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in the enchanting city of Sylhet, Bangladesh. WordPress enthusiasts, developers, designers, marketers, and business owners gathered at this prestigious event to celebrate their shared passion for the world’s most popular content management system. With an impressive lineup of speakers and an atmosphere filled with excitement, the event left a lasting impression on all attendees.
The Venue and Setting
The Central Auditorium at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology will be the host for WordCamp Sylhet 2023. Situated in the heart of Sylhet, the venue is easily accessible, just 30 minutes driving distance (10KM) from Osmani International Airport (ZYL). Moreover, it is conveniently located just 5KM away from Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar Sharif, a historically significant place in Sylhet. WordCamp Sylhet 2023 was an unforgettable experience! The sessions were informative, covering a wide range of topics. I even won a pair of headphones at the Ultimate Blocks Stall’s dartboard game.
