The festivities commenced on February 17 with Contributor Day, providing attendees with the chance to actively contribute to the WordPress ecosystem. From registration at 9:00 am to the closing remarks at 4:00 pm, the day was filled with engaging sessions. For those unable to attend in person, virtual participation was also made available.

WordCamp Conference Days: A Deep Dive into WordPress

The main conference days unfolded from February 17 to 19, featuring captivating sessions across multiple tracks. Attendees had the opportunity to explore diverse topics, from blogging and marketing to development and security.

Day 1 – February 17:

  • The day began with opening and welcoming remarks at 9:45 am, followed by sessions on contributing to WordPress and a group photo opportunity.
  • Track 2 featured sessions on neuroscience for writers, advanced performance for PHP developers, and maximizing the REST API.

Day 2 -February 18:

  • Registration kicked off at 8:30 am, leading to a day filled with insightful sessions. Notable topics included starting a WordPress blog, content creation strategies, and exploring WordPress through the terminal.
  • Sessions also delved into cultural intelligence, hacking prevention, and leveraging NFTs for income.

Day 3 – February 19:

  • The final day featured sessions on font design, contributing localized content, and the psychological impact of the pandemic on content presentation.
  • Special highlights included an AMA with Matt Mullenweg and a panel discussion on building WordPress communities worldwide.
