Why We Did This

The idea behind this meetup was to provide an open platform where individuals working in IT, whether experienced or new, could connect with others in their field, share their journeys, and find support among like-minded professionals. In the ever-evolving IT sector, having a local network is invaluable for mutual support, collaboration, and future growth. We aimed to build a foundation that helps each member, lifting the community as a whole by fostering meaningful connections and mutual trust.

Sharing Our Journeys in IT

Rather than a formal seminar, the highlight of this event was the chance for participants to introduce themselves and share their personal journeys in the IT field. Each story added depth to the community, from career beginnings to milestones and the challenges they faced along the way. This was a time to bond and relate, where people saw beyond job titles to the real stories behind each participant’s journey, strengthening the community’s foundation.

Raffle Draws with Exclusive Tech Prizes

Adding to the excitement was a raffle draw, sponsored by UnivaHost, spiderDevs, and wpXpress. UnivaHost provided 5 hosting packages designed to support freelancers and startups. spiderDevs contributed 5 premium plugin licenses, while wpXpress offered 3 licenses for their WordPress plugin. The raffle created a buzz of anticipation and brought smiles to the lucky winners, highlighting the generosity and support of our local sponsors.

Attendees gathered for a memorable photo session, marking the start of what we hope will be a long-standing tradition. The smiles and energy in these photos reflect the excitement of building a new community in Brahmanbaria and creating a supportive network for all.

A Memorable Dinner with Kacchi

As the day wrapped up, attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner featuring Kacchi Biryani, a favorite dish that brought everyone together to celebrate a successful event. Over dinner, participants continued to share stories, exchanged contact information, and discussed future meetups, strengthening the bonds formed throughout the day.

Looking Ahead – Closing Remarks & Future Plans

In his closing remarks, Shipon Karmakar expressed heartfelt thanks to all participants, emphasizing the critical support from Tanvirul Haque, Azim Jamshed, Meheraj Khan, and Ashraful Amin, whose efforts made the event a success. Shipon expressed his hopes to make this an annual event, expanding the community further each year.

This first Brahmanbaria IT Community Meetup was more than just an event; it was a milestone, laying the groundwork for a network where IT professionals can support each other and build connections.
