The Bangabandhu Military Museum, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is a world-class museum that showcases the rich military heritage of the country. Spread across a massive area of 160,000 square feet, the museum is divided into three wings for the Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Force. History Bangabandhu Military Museum
The museum was originally established in 1987 as the Army Museum at the entrance of Mirpur Cantonment in Dhaka. In 1999, it was relocated to its current location on Bijoy Sarani and renamed the Bangladesh Military Museum. In 2010, the Armed Forces Division formed a Board of Officers to renovate and modernize the museum and proposed a world-class museum to be named the Bangabandhu Military Museum. Opening Hours
The museum is open from 10 am to 1 pm for morning exhibitions (except Wednesday and Friday) and from 3 pm to 6 pm for afternoon exhibitions (except Wednesday) outside the month of Ramadan. During the month of Ramadan, the morning exhibition is from 10 am to 1 pm (except Fridays and National Holidays), and the afternoon exhibition is from 2 pm to 4 pm (except Fridays and National Holidays).
